Dorney Lake Trust is a registered charity set up by Eton College, the facility's owners, to operate the Lake site. It has a three-part remit: to provide safe rowing for Eton College pupils, to offer highest-level facilities for major rowing events and to welcome all community sectors for sporting and other activities.
Dorney Lake Services is the hospitality arm of Dorney Lake Trust. Revenues from functions and events are used to enable rowing fees to be kept reasonable.

Under its remit to offer access to all community sectors Dorney Lake Trust welcomes sporting and hospitality users and members of the public all year round, except at Christmas. Site entry charges are made only during major events, such as regattas.
Over 100 schools and clubs row at Dorney Lake and the national squads, including Olympians, train here regularly. The Junior Rowing Initiative (9's to 18's) is a rowing programme for schools not previously offering it as a sport. Other programmes for young people and adults, outdoor and indoor, are available. 2005 has also seen the introduction of canoeing for young people. See Rowing & Canoeing for more details.
Hospitality customers are also welcome year-round. Companies, councils, organisations and individuals enjoy the impeccable and personal service of our in-house team, which can set up and cater for any event of your choice for a few people or several thousand in our spectacular surroundings. Convenient location and generous parking space - and last but definitely not least - our Olympic 2012 venue status, add to Dorney Lake's very considerable attractions. See Hospitality.
In daily terms walkers, dogs, joggers, runners and cyclists frequent Dorney Lake's grounds. Basic site guidelines and the safety and security measure of CCTV ensure this wonderful community amenity is kept at its best for all users. Please see Leisure & Learning.
