Whatever the weather the views are by turns beautiful, atmospheric, scenic. In spring and summer sunshine, with the water glistening, the Arboretum trees swaying gently and the wildflowers dancing, it is idyllic. In cooler periods, with the leaves turning or in mist, the background is still lovely.
