Rowing and Canoeing
2012 Olympic Venue for Rowing and Flat-water Canoeing
Training
National teams, clubs, universities, the Army and Olympians train at Dorney Lake. Rowing and canoeing camps and courses for beginners through to top athletes and coaches are held.

Training is also used as part of management development and team-building for corporate clients (see Hospitality).

Adaptive Facilities

The Dorney Lake site is designed for disabled user-friendliness. Adaptive events are under discussion.
The August 2006 World Rowing Championships to be held at Dorney Lake have included an adaptive section.

From 2006 adaptive rowing has become an accredited Paralympic sport and adaptive rowers turned in some very impressive performances at the recent World Rowing Championships at Dorney Lake
