Site Rules
For the benefit of all users and to keep this wonderful sporting, leisure, learning and heritage amenity pristine we have set a few simple guidelines:

  • The site is open year-round, except at Christmas, and visitors are always welcome

  • Access is normally free, except during major events such as regattas, when a charge will be made, or if the site has been hired for exclusive use

  • Parking should be on/in designated hard-standing or parking areas

  • Walking and running on paths or grass is fine

  • Cycling and even in-line skating on the paths (not the grass) are also permitted

  • Dogs are as welcome as their owners but please control them near the roads

  • Please also clean up after them for health and safety reasons and remove any mess

  • Please do not drop litter but take it with you

  • Barbecues are not permitted, partly for safety and partly because chemical run-off can affect ground and water

  • Enjoy the site quietly.
